Her skills include presenting material in a dynamic, interesting way, with attention to details and deadlines. She is also an effective copywriter and proofreader who helps businesses make sure that their communication reflects their commitment to quality.
Maureen began her writing career, as Maureen Lafferty. Her early work included poetry and plays preformed during backyard productions with her six siblings at their childhood home in a suburb of Philadelphia. Since then, she has honed her writing skills and satisfied her wanderlust while living in: Houston, Texas; Fribourg, Switzerland; Orlando Florida; Ashaway, Rhode Island; Groton, Connecticut; Saratoga Springs, New York; and Silverdale, Washington.
For the past 10 years, she has lived “down the shore” in Cape May County, New Jersey with her husband, Troy, their three children, and a pair of black Beagledor-style mutts. When she is not writing, she is barefoot on the beach, gardening, cooking or planning her family’s next vacation.
